#31 - Printing Deposit Tickets in Farm Funds

The Deposit Ticket window now has the option of printing to pre-printed deposit ticket forms available from Deluxe, Dynamic Systems, and others.

There is only one style of Deposit ticket, but the Deposit Ticket setup window allows you to set a default printer and make printer adjustments.

#32 - Symbols for Markers

Symbols are a brand new feature in Farm Works X2. A wide selection of symbols can be selected as flags or markers. A common example would be when importing yield data in Farm Site or Site Pro. If the yield data was recorded with markers (showing rocks, weeds, etc.), these will now appear with a different symbol for each marker.

#33 - Commodity-Specific Legends

When importing yield data into Farm Site or Site Pro, default legends can be set for each commodity.

#34 - Print Preview of Maps

Printing maps has been revamped in Farm Works X2. When the “print” button is selected, a print preview of the map appears. This gives you the opportunity to view the map and confirm the layout. Another unique feature is the additional data on the report when printing yield maps.

#35 - New "View Tree"

The brand new “View Tree” locates and sorts your favorite view for any layer in Farm Site or Site Pro. The new interface for views makes it simple to delete or change a view.

#36 - Acres Displayed for Average and Contour Point Maps

Farm Works X2 will display the number of acres for point-based maps when averaged or contoured is used. It was possible to view acres for “area” based layers using prior versions of Farm Works, however, that was not the case with “point” based layers (such as yield maps). Once the average or contour view is selected for a point based layer, the “Range Count” option can be selected and acres will appear next to the range.

#37 - New Report Export Formats

Farm Works X2 reports are very flexible and can be exported to various formats. Such formats include PDF, Microsoft Excel or Word documents, or HTML. All reports will display an “Export” button.

#38 - Attributes on Lines

Attributes on lines are a very popular feature in Farm Works X2. If you are importing a line file that contains attributes (such as tile lines), Farm Works X2 will automate the legend for you. This means it will display a legend for each attribute that was logged on the line file. The example at left shows the diameter of the tile line, yet we can select the length in the “View Tree” to see this too.

#39 - Updated Enterprise Statement Report

A new and improved enterprise statement is available in Farm Works X2. The report is easier to view and contains more information. If you have pictures of equipment or personnel loaded into the software, these too will appear on the statement.

#40 - Renovated Layer Display Feature

The layer display feature located in Farm Site or Site Pro received a face-lift in Farm Works X2. If you have multiple layers displayed on the map area, the layer display feature will create tabs for each layer for editing.

The second image at left illustrates access to all the layers when this feature is used. Prior versions of Farm Works only displayed this option for one layer at a time.
