 The SiRF III Transplant CF GPS receiver is a GPS Receiver with
a type II compactflash interface. It uses the latest SiRF III GPS chipset for much more accurate position than previous models, and even less power consumption than previous low-power models. Using the standard NMEA output,
it is compatable with all GPS software which accepts the industry standard input.
Compatible devices include all Pocket PCs with a compactflash slot, Win CE devices,
and Laptop computers (using a PC Card Adapter).
Although the SiRF III Transplant CF Primum GPS is not accurate enough
for highly precise applications, this WAAS receiver is great for scouting and sampling or trip navigation.

- Great satellite reception, very fast time-to-fix and re-acquisition rate.
- SiRF III chip enables improved reception in previously "difficult" areas like under tree canopies, around buildings, in canyons, etc.
- Improved SiRF III accuracy: typically under 3 meters using WAAS (tested at 1-3 meters), 5 meters without WAAS. Suitable for scouting, sampling, mapping, and
VRA.
- Uses even less power than previous low-power models.
- Slim anennta housing design.
- Supports industry GPS standard NMEA v2.2 and SiRF binary code.
- Rugged CompactFlash type II interface.
- Operates in PC Card slot with Type II CF to PC Card adapter.
- Internal antenna for stand alone use.
- External active antenna for increased satellite acquisition (optional).
- Great for use on foot in the field, on an ATV, or in the cab.
