AgLeader InSight Helps You Make More Profitable Decisions
InSight’s color touch screen isn’t just for looks.
Here are just a few of the features that can help you make more
profitable decisions.
- Record all of your field activities - from planting to harvest.
- Generate color maps while planting and see the location of
each hybrid or variety, even when using split planter operations.
- Perform automatic and manual product application control and prescription-based variable rate control for liquid and granular products, and display color maps of prescriptions and resulting as-applied rates.
- Create and view color yield and moisture maps while harvesting
and instantly observe how field conditions affect yield.
- See a boundary map showing field perimeter in all field operations.
- Zoom in/out and pan maps to see points of interest.
- Summary screen displays a complete data summary from the field.
- Use easy on-screen help system for fast answers in the field.
- Control your
self-propelled or pull-type sprayer directly from the InSight
with the DirectCommand system. You no longer need a controller
console in your cab for manual or variable rate application.
- Auto-steer your
vehicle equipped with the Trimble AgGPS Autopilot conveniently
through the InSight display while application rate or yield mapping.
Why InSight?
- Readability. The InSight display’s large 10.4-inch color touch screen features onetouch adjustable backlighting for better readability day or night.
- Simplicity. Yield monitor setup is as easy as selecting your combine model from a list. An on-screen keyboard with contextual help is easy to navigate and more intuitive. Moving the InSight display from vehicle to vehicle is easy – using the same mounting bracket as the PFadvantage – or optional RAM™ mount for tractors and sprayers.
- Compatibility. InSight display is compatible with a wide variety of precision hardware, including most NMEA GPS receivers and the most popular controllers, including Mid-Tech®, Raven, Rawson, Flexicoil™, Trimble AgGPS® Autopilot and others.
- Modeless operation. The InSight display uses no keycards. A large internal memory gives you instant access to applications, maps, summaries, reports and setup/run screens.
- Durability. A rugged, sealed enclosure keeps dust and elements out and protects the unit when transferring from one piece of equipment to the next, ensuring data integrity in all operating conditions. The InSight display is backed by a two year warranty for added ease-of-mind

CAN Bus Technology
InSight uses the newest industry-standard CAN bus technology (Controller
Area Network). This allows InSight to serve as the user interface
for a simple, modular system where a single high-speed cable (or
bus) distributes large amounts of information to and from the other
control modules (i.e. grain flow sensors, moisture sensors, speed
and position sensors, auto steer systems, application rate modules,
etc.) CAN bus means expandability, improved performance, and compatibility
into the future.

InSight DirectCommand Liquid Application Control System
The optional DirectCommand system allows applicators to control application
rate directly from the InSight display, eliminating the need for
a separate in-cab application controller, reducing cab clutter and
more tightly integrating technology from field to office.
DirectCommand includes an exciting feature called AutoSwath™
control. AutoSwath automatic boom control allows the InSight display
to automatically shut off individual boom sections as the sprayer
enters into and out of already applied areas, which is especially
useful around point rows, waterways and field borders where over-application
is most likely to occur. An on-screen coverage map showing skips
and overlaps as small as one foot provides visual verification that
the system is doing its job. AutoSwath control also works on applicators
that do not have booms such as spreaders and air carts. The InSight
display with DirectCommand makes application easier and more accurate
and more profitable.
The DirectCommand system connects directly to supported brands
of flow meters and valves and controls up to 10 boom valves for
either manual or automatic boom section control – with both
motorized and solenoid-type boom valves supported. A 10-boom switch
box for manual boom section control is available with the DirectCommand
system. An auxiliary input module is also available for connecting
to built-in boom and master switches in self-propelled sprayers
and other vehicles.
InSight DirectCommand Granular Application Control
DirectCommand Granular Application control adds complete control
over granular application to the Insight Display. The system supports
single/multiple product application, applying and data logging up to
5 products simultaneously, and multi-product prescriptions on one map.
It also enables manual rate or prescription map control on a bin-by-bin
basis. Auto Swath automatically turns on/off individual boom sections
based on your field map, giving you greater control with less effort.
The DirectCommand eliminates the need for a separate in-cab controller,
reducing cab clutter and more tightly integrating your application
control with the powerful Insight precision farming system.
