The Emtac Bluetooth GPS "Trine" Receiver (Emtac BTGPS) is the second generation of the world's first mobile GPS receiver integrated with bluetooth technology for wireless operation. Bluetooth-enabled devices can send data like GPS data, phonebook/address book contacts, spreadsheets, documents, pictures and notes to other Bluetooth enabled devices wirelessly. By sending GPS position data over Bluetooth, you can position the receiver for the best possible reception all without wires. It's a great option for farm, corporate, or recreational use.

The Emtac BTGPS allows you to receive GPS data wirelessly on any Bluetooth-enabled PDA or laptop PC. It will simultaneously link to three other Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as PDAs, laptops, and mobile telephones. It provides fast signal acquisition and re-acquisition, low power consumption (a rechargeable, replaceable 10-hour battery!), embedded antenna, and LED status lights. The Emtac BTGPS supports DGPS with programmable WAAS/EGNOS. Martens Farms ships the Emtac BTGPS with WAAS already enabled.

  • Great satellite reception, very fast time-to-fix and re-acquisition rate.
  • Ultra-low power consumption and new lithium-ion battery enables 10 hours of continuous receiver use - four more hours than the previous Emtac BTGPS model!
  • Removable lithium-ion battery is great for long trips or work days - carry a spare battery and pop it in when needed. Recharging takes only an hour with the included AC charger.
  • Recharging takes only an hour with the included AC charger.
  • LED lights indicate GPS, Bluetooth, and battery status.
  • Muilti-Link supports Bluetooth connection to up to three other Bluetooth devices.
  • Embedded high sensitivity GPS active antenna and Bluetooth antenna.
  • External GPS active antenna (optional) - recommended for in-vehicle and indoors use.
  • WAAS enabled (unlike some other companies, we ship it already programmed for WAAS support).
  • Uses no card slot, so you still have expandability and data storage if using an iPAQ or other PDA.
