Martens Farms provides expert assistance to help you make the most of your hardware and software. We can help you learn or troubleshoot Farm Works Software using a secured direct internet connection to your PC for particularly fast, effective results. We also provide training and consulting over the phone, and sometimes an on-site visit is the best option in order to setup both hardware and software.

  • Offered online by secured internet connection, at your site, at our site, or by phone.
  • Remote On-Site Assistance allows hands-on training, setup and troubleshooting to any computer with an internet connection at 56k or higher speed. Like an on-site session but without the travel costs and time delays. This is an extremely productive option - give us a call for more information.
  • Your Martens Farm consultant is not an accountant or lawyer and you should seek the advice of your personal accountant for financial decisions, and your lawyer concerning legal matters.
  • Any personal or financial information seen or heard about your operation will STAY ABSOLUTELY PRIVATE.

  • Car mileage - $.50 cents per mile (including to and from airports).
  • Electronic equipment - if required, it is the customers responsibility.
  • Airport parking and cab fees.
  • Airline Tickets and Car Rentals, and related expenses if applicable.
    Martens Farms will purchase the tickets and car rental (due to insurance reasons).
  • You are required to pay in advance for Airline tickets and car rentals.

 

Training Mondays

  • Ongoing series of online training sessions to help new and existing users get up to speed with Farm Works Software quickly and efficiently.
  • Demonstration-based training, requiring high-speed internet access
  • Helps new and upgrading users get more out of the software with less time and effort.
  • Hour-long training sessions cover:
    • general introduction and setup tips
    • transitioning from earlier Farm Works Software versions
    • field record-keeping with Farm Trac and Trac Mate
    • agricultural financial management with Farm Funds
    • field and data mapping with Farm Site and Site Mate
    • livestock management with Farm Stock and Stock Mate
    • questions and answers from participants
    • much more
  • 8:30 a.m., first and third Monday of each month starting January 2007

Classroom Training

  • Lecture/demonstration style - not hands-on unless otherwise specified. (Call for information on local or online computer-based training for a group or an individual.)

We cover everything in the standard Farm Works Basics class, “plus” additional details, tips, and examples to reinforce your learning experience. Classes will include the topics below and more.

Farm Trac Class:
