SMS Basic and Ag Leader Equipment
Head into harvest with all your equipment and software ready for action, and
with new skills to make using it easier and more productive.
Join Martens Farms and members of the Ag Leader Technical Support team for
two special days of training and harvest prep. You'll learn to use SMS
Basic software, or Ag Leader precision agriculture
equipment including the Insight, EZ-Guide Plus and EZ-Steer, controllers and
GPS antennas.

Attend this hands-on computer-based training to get up and running with SMS
Basic software for harvest season and beyond. Ag Leader tech support representatives
will teach you how to use the software, demonstrate new features, share tips and
answer your questions. Register a second person to share your computer, and they
pay half-price ($60).
The morning session covers the fundamentals:
- Basic SMS tools
- Reading files from yield monitors
- Editing/saving legends
- Moving fields
- Creating and printing maps
- Printing charts
- Printing summaries,
The afternoon session covers:
- Downloading satellite imagery
- Creating boundaries
- Creating soil sampling regions
- Reading soil lab data
- Writing prescriptions
- Questions and answers
You must be at an intermediate level of computer knowledge to attend. Basic
Microsoft Windows operation is a requirement - this training session will not
cover basic Microsoft Windows commands.
The registration fee includes training, lunch, meeting room, and computer rental
cost. Directions are provided upon registration. Register
early - seating is limited because this is a hands-on, computer-based class.

workshop focusing on Ag Leader precision farming equipment.
Bring your questions, and your monitors and GPS units to learn the latest features
and download the latest firmware. You'll also see demonstrations of new technology,
including the Insight Precision Farming System and the EZ-Steer for the EZ-Guide
Plus.
This is a great opportunity to update your equipment to the latest
firmware versions. It's also a fast and easy way to learn to use your equipment
more effectively - especially for new and enhanced capabilities!

- 11:15 - 12:15 p.m. - Insight training and setup
- 12:15 - 1 p.m. - Lunch provided
- 1- 2 p.m. - SMS software demo with Q&A
- 2 - 3 p.m. - EZ-Guide Plus and EZ-Steer demo with wrap-up Q&A
Registration is required to allow us to plan facilities
